About the SMYC
The Sacramento Model Yacht Club (SMYC) promotes the racing of radio-controlled (R/C) sailing yachts. Seven classes of model yachts are raced. Clicking on the class name below will take you to the American Model Yachting Association (AMYA) web site and a description of the class.
A1D SMYC Club Class

Racing begins in February of each year and ends in November.
Each month, five heat races are usually held for each class to determine the monthly winner. Points are awarded and accrued to determine the year's winners in each class.

Yearly dues are only $25.00.
No AMYA membership is required.
